5 Apps To Increase Your Productivity Without Any Extra Effort

Do you ever say to yourself, there are not enough hours in a day. The truth is that there are plenty of hours, and we really don’t need to be working harder but rather working smarter. That’s why it’s critical to make sure that you’re not only busy but, actually being productive in that time. As a woman who works in technology sales, I constantly have to keep up with the demand of my partners, their client’s needs, and of course my own internal team projects. When I look for ways to increase my productivity level, I choose tools that are simple, to the point, and easy to manage. Below are five of my favorite apps that I use on a daily basis to be efficient and keep my sanity all at the same time.

Google Drive

This underrated powerhouse is an all in one the all-in-one office suite. But why is Google Drive so different? Because it easily integrates with over 20+ vendors – everything from project management software, email tracking, sales CRM platforms, and other file sync and share services like Dropbox. With features like voice typing, you can efficiently document follow-up items when running in-between meetings.

Audible

Reading is quintessential for growing in your career and own personal development. For a sensible $15/month you can select any audiobook from Audibles expansive library. A recently released feature, called Channels, streams speeches and lectures on a range of topics. Everything from Meditation to the Harvard Business Review, this app gives you on-demand access to knowledge 24/7. Multi-tasking couldn’t be any easier on the elliptical machine.

Any.do

This sleek task management app lets you put together beautiful and easy to read task lists. But this is not your grandmothers to do list, Any.do comes with something special. The app itself will help you create a habit of using it, by setting an alarm for you to review your daily tasks. Not only will it boost your productivity for the 3-5 days that you actually use it, this unique feature promotes your productivity for the long term because you build of daily habit.

Fiverr

Having an account with Fiverr is like having a personal assistant that can do anything in your back pocket. If you are not familiar with this site, it is a marketplace where you can hire freelancers to complete services for as little as $5. Alternatively, if you are looking to make some extra cash on the side and have a marketable skill, you can create a profile and start posting your services. It’s a win-win situation, as a buyer, you can increase the amount of time you spend income generating tasks. And as a seller, you not only make extra money but practice and perfect your craft.

Trello

This fun and interactive project management software will allow you to collaborate with your team without making task delegation another project. The free version allows you to easily communicate relevant information with team members and allows for collaboration between members. Visually the user interface is very easy to navigate and gives you the flexibility to switch from task to project, and vice-versa. The best part about it is that it does not have to be used only for work. I personally use it to manage projects around the house like moving or organizing big events like speaking engagements.

These five apps barely skim the surface of what is out there to increase productivity. Although they are tried and tested, the productivity portion is only going to come from you actually using them. So become familiar with your strengths, your work style, and make these apps do the work for you. Good luck gals, stay productive and stay motivated.
