Nickname: Most people call me Dean or some variation of it, and my buddies call me Red or Red followed by some kind of expletive. I’m forever endeared to non-family members that actually call me Andrew.

What is the best non-physical factor you look for in a woman?
Intellect and passion. She needs to be smart, quick-witted, and invested in something that she’s passionate about.
If you knew then what you do now about dating, what would you tell your 18 year old self?
Don’t sweat it. Surround yourself with good people who make you happy and everything will take care of itself.
Any favorite place you like to take a girl out on a date?
Nowhere specific, but if it’s one of the first dates definitely somewhere where we can share something. I think having to make a decision together on what pizza or tapas plates to share can be a fun, and sometimes telling, a way to get to know her. It also takes away the onus of having to create a conversation out of thin air; it creates a shared experience to talk about.
I tend to crush harder on the girl at the coffee shop or on the train to work, but if we’re going with a celebrity it’s definitely Emmy Rossum. I think she has great style and is incredibly sexy in a classic way. Plus she’s witty and is an amazing singer, and I’m a total sucker for both.
Biggest turn off?
Don’t be rude or disrespectful. I’ll definitely pay attention to how you treat the wait staff at dinner or the cab driver on the way home.
