Mast Brothers Chocolate

Holy packaging. You may have seen these beautiful chocolate bars in and around local stores, but now you can meet the pioneers behind the Mast Brothers brand! This Friday, November 15th from 6-8pm, Art in the Age in Old City will host Rick and Michael Mast, the two brothers that went from a city in Iowa to New York’s Brooklyn to start the totally rad Mast Brothers chocolate in 2007.

Join them for an exclusive signing of their book Mast Brothers Chocolate: A Family Cookbook where they share details on their delicious chocolate recipes (most of which are made primarily from cacao pods and cane sugar). Joining in on the event are a few tasty treats for attendees. Here’s the snippet from the event description:

“High Street On Market will be providing tasty chocolate pastries served alongside a boozy hot chocolate made with Mast Brother’s chocolate and Art In The Age organic spirits, and topped with Spodee Marshallows from Zynnie Bakes. To celebrate we’re also hosting a giveaway with five winners who will walk away with an assortment of goodies courtesy Mast Brothers Chocolate, Art In The Age, and Spodee.

Oh snap. This Friday is going to be a chocolatey-delightful night. We hope to see you at Art in the Age everyone!
